Settled another one

Last payment on AmEx account due at end of month. That'll be the second one settled. Got a settlement offer from Exxon for $289.98 and accepted that because it is about 30 cents on the dollar. That will be paid tomorrow.

And speaking of settlements, estranged hubby and I have come to a verbal agreement. Submitted it to my lawyer and awaiting his response. Might be able to get out of debt quicker after I don't have to pay over $2k/mo for his house, car, cell phone, etc.

Financial freedom in sight! It's a small pinhole at the end of the tunnel, but I can see it with binoculars.
